The FAST® Power Rankings Presented by COMP Cams® USMTS/USRA Power Rankings
By: Sam Stoecklin
In the final few days before the USMTS tour resumes with the Cage Match in Atchison, Kansas, it's Cade Dillard who once again leads the for a fifth-consecutive week and eighth week overall on this week's USMTS/USRA FAST® Power Rankings Presented by COMP Cams. Dillard has not been on an extended vacay unlike some of his peers, instead he is out winning races and picked up a weekend TOMS East victory at Sabine Motor Speedway.

Ryan Gustin holds down the number two position once again as Ricky Thornton, Jr. inches back into the top three this week. Jason Hughes sits in the number four spot one spot ahead of Stormy Scott, another driver who did not sit idle last week. Scott rolled into Lucas Oil Speedway and picked up the victory on Saturday night in Wheatland, Missouri, leading to his advancement from number seven last week to this week's number five position. This is the first time "S" Scott has found a way into the top five since late July of 2016.

Lucas Schott, Johnny Scott, Zack VanderBeek, Jake Gallardo, and weekend MLRA Late Model winner, Rodney Sanders round out this week's top ten drivers. Meanwhile, Mitch Keeter inched closer to the top ten after posting another victory at Humboldt Speedway and sits in the number 11 slot this week.

Leaving the top 20 and just missing this week were Jackie Dalton, Mitchell Clement, Darron Fuqua, Jeff Cutshaw, and Terry Phillips. On the other hand, new to this week's rankings are the likes of Jim Moody, who, with a brand-new baby girl looking on claimed the opener at Central Missouri Speedway and makes a re-entry to the rankings at number 15, his highest-ever placement.

Zane Devilbiss roared back to victory lane over the western contingent and reappears this week at number 17. Kerry Davis re-enters at number 18 this week after a pair of weekend top-ten finishes including a second-place run at Lakeside Speedway. Brian Williams also re-enters the top 20 this week after posting the win at Tri-State over a large filed of cars. The final new driver this week makes his first-ever visit to the top 20, Ryan Middaugh captured a hometown victory at Callaway Raceway on Friday, then settled for a top-five run at Central Missouri Speedway after leading the first third of the event on Saturday.

The list of additional drivers receiving votes this week includes: Jeff Cutshaw, Philip Houston, R.C. Whitwell, Terry Phillips, Jon Sheets, Fito Gallardo, Nic Bidinger, Marc Hurd, Kyle Pleasant, Kenny Gaddis, C.A. Nix, Jackie Dalton, Dan Powers, Tyler Wolff, Tommy Fain, Logan Robertson, Triston Dycus, Josh Angst, Darron Fuqua, Darren Shaw, Troy Taylor, Tom Tillison, Tad Davis, Brian Franz, and Ken Schrader. All total 45 drivers made the ranking sheets this week, up three from last week and a new record of most drivers receiving votes for a second week in a row.

The USMTS/USRA FAST® Power Rankings Presented by COMP Cams will return again next week with an all-new top 20. More and more tracks are opening and next week's rankings will weigh heavily on the outcome of those events and the USMTS's return to action.
