(July 17, 2012) Buckner, MO - It's going to be a busy week for the Lucas Oil MLRA. Wednesday night action will be taking place at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, MO. It will mark the return of Super Late Models to Mike Franks' high banked oval for the first time since 2009. The track is known for an outstanding racing surface, featuring three and four racing grooves consistently.
John Anderson currently leads Lucas Oil MLRA Point Standings and has won three series races thus far in 2012. There is also a tight point battle going on for the Rookie of the Year honors. Mark Dotson is currently fourth in the standings and just twenty three points ahead of Kevin Sather. The two competitors look to go down to the wire in a hotly contested battle.
The A Modified division will also be in action along with the B Modifieds to round out an exciting night of racing on Wednesday. A special thanks goes out to Timberline Traders and US 36 Raceway for increasing the A Modified purse. The winner will receive $750.
