(May 30, 2012) Buckner, MO - Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO and Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta , KS will host the Lucas Oil MLRA this coming weekend. Valley Speedway hasn't hosted a Dirt Late Model race since 2008, when John Anderson went to Victory Lane. Unfortunately last year's events at Thunder Hill Speedway were rained out, twice. Two years ago, Billy Moyer and Kelly Boen won races at the high banked oval, just north of Topeka, KS.
"We're really excited to be racing at Valley and Thunder Hill," commented Promoter Harriett Chancellor. "Late Model fans in the Kansas City area will be able to see our series in action Friday and that's always a good thing. The Conkwright family has just done terrific things with Thunder Hill Speedway. We were ready to race there last season and the rain killed us. It's a one of a kind place and a favorite amongst our drivers."
The Lucas Oil MLRA Two-Seater Show Car will be on display at Zarda Barbecue in Blue Springs, MO on Thursday. Be sure to stop by and get your picture taken with it and sign up to win some special prizes courtesy of Lucas Oil MLRA Series Sponsors. Plan to stay for a meal inside and get your discount tickets for the race on Friday evening.
