Greetings all, glad to be back tonight, we are moments away from hotlaps for the 20th annual running of the Show-Me 100. Pack trucks are finishing up business right now and cars are in the staging lane as we speak. Mark Fluffy Dotson looks like he will be one of the first cars to come out on the track.

While we're waiting we'll throw some stats out to ya from the history of the race.

The most cars ever at a Show Me was 1999 when there were 128 cars on hand, Terry Phillips was the winner that year. In 2000 there were 127 cars checked. To the best of our knowledge there are 55 cars checked in. May not be the largeest car count but the quality is here!  Cars just hit the track!

I see the what I think is the Manufacturer's Race staging for the late models right now...

Stick says the finger till is out on the track, we are all discussing names for what this piece of equipment is, the tickler (won't tell you some of the names~LOL~)  but anyway the track is being worked up just a bit before we resume, the till was used in turns one and two to take out the black streaks on the track, not sure if they will do turns three and four...looking at tonigh's heat race action I don't think it's anyone's surprise that Owens, Bloomquist, O'Neal and Moyer all won their heat races and rather comfortably too, these four just seem to be on a rail lately and their games are on the money...for subscribers, we just uploaded the post heat race audio for Stovall, Sather, and Vaught...manufacturers dash is out now.

Brandon McCormick / Brian Shirley

Earl Pearson Jr / Brad Looney

Don O'Neal / Steve Francis

Tony Jackson / Jimmy Owens

Shirley is off to an early lead, five hundred will go to the winner, O'Neal and Pearson run for fourth with Looney closing on Shirley at lap four...Good race for first with six laps down as Shirley is just in front of defending MARS series champion Brad Looney in a Victory Circle, Shirley is in a Pierce car...Final rundown for the manufacturer's dash is Brian Shirley, Brad Looney, Steve Francis, Don O'Neal, Jimmy Owens, Earl Pearson Jr, Tony Jackson Jr and Brandon McCormick. Past champions race is staging...

Brian Shirley Post Race Interview

Twelve laps, 1,000 to win

Wallace/Phillips

Bloomquist/Moyer

Birkhofer/Owens

Birky is in Mars' car, three wide for the lead with a little rubbing between Wallace Moyer and Phillips, Moyer and Phillips going after it with Moyer edging to the front after three laps, Bloomer to third with Wallace fourth, Owens and Birky after five now...closest race is for second between the two Bloomquist chassis cars with Phillips holding on to second over Bloomquist at lap seven...Moyer nearly a straghtaway lead over the battle for second which Phillips has by about four car lengths over Bloomquist, Owens takes fourth over Wallace, one to go...Moyer dominates to take the 1,000 dollar win, he also won this race last year, Phillips was second by about six car lengths over Bloomquist, Owens, Wallace and Birkhofer...Moyer commented in victory lane that the track is better, "it's been three grooves out there maybe even four, you can set your car up for whatever you want to dry" said Moyer. He went on to say "the car is better each time we tinker with it."  Modified main event coming up, scroll back up for the lineup...

Billy Moyer Post Race Interview

Modified Main is green with Hughes off to an early lead but the start has been waved off, complete restart...after six laps Hughes leads Cutshaw by about ten car lenghts with Brian Williams thrid, Setzer fourth, Badder fifth and Picou sixth...Hughes is here to get a leg up on the competition for the National USMAS race here in August, he might be the smartest one in the bunch for dropping in. Close action all throughout the field now on back as drivers run two distinct lines for spots, up front it's still Hughes with Cutshaw and Williams the top three, Picou has moved to fourth over Setzer, Badder, Payden Phillips, terry Schultz and Justin Neuman with 15 laps down...

Cutshaw is staying right with the leader and now Payden Phillips has stalled in turn four to draw a caution on lap 16, running order so far is Hughes, Cutshaw, Williams, Picou, Setzer, Badder, Schultz is seventh followed by Neuman, Kaleb Bray, Sheets, Burrell, Siebert, Ragland, Elliott, Jones, Seratt, Jones, Elliott, Poe, Russell, Snyder, Pursley, Fellers, die Bray, Donnie Fellers and Phillips...back green now...great finish but only 20 laps, that's a shame, at the line it's Hughes, Williams, Cutshaw, Picou, Schultz, Setzer, Badder, K Bray, Burrell unofficially at the line....thanks for joining us tonight, that's going to do it for the night's blog, we'll be with you again tomorrow night !!!!
